The Wolfbrook Motorsport Foundation has launched in New Zealand to nurture and support the next generation of racing stars.
Founded by Wolfbrook Director Steve Brooks, the foundation offers talented individuals the latest Toyota GR86 and financial support, enabling them to compete in the upcoming season.
By providing these opportunities, the Wolfbrook Motorsport Foundation gives young drivers the platform to showcase their skills and passion in a competitive environment.
The Wolfbrook Motorsport Foundation is backed by notable figures in the motorsport world, including Walkinshaw Andretti United driver and former Toyota 86 Champion Ryan Wood and James Marshall Motorsport owner James Marshall.
Their involvement highlights the Foundation’s commitment to providing top-tier opportunities for young drivers.
Starting on September 5th, 2024, aspiring drivers can apply to use a brand new Toyota GR86 and receive up to $50,000 towards running costs in the 2024/2025 season.
The opportunity aims to remove financial barriers and allow the next generation of motorsport talent to reach their full potential.
Brooks founded Wolfbrook Motorsport in 2022 with a vision to contribute to the motorsport community. He initially competed in Porsche GT3 Cup Cars in SIERDC and NIERDC before adding an Audi R8 GT3 EVO2 last year.
In 2024, Brooks has competed in several other events, including the GT World Challenge Australia and the Bathurst 6-Hour.
Along the way, he has provided support to stars including Ryan Wood and Ronan Murphy, and with the launch of the Wolfbrook Motorsport Foundation, he aims to create a new pathway for New Zealand’s next racing stars.
