Many of the world’s top motorsport stars went up against a strong contingent of professional sim-racers in a head-to-head virtual race for the second round of the ‘The Race All Stars Esports Battle.’
The series’ inaugural event last week had a combined total of 12.1 million minutes watched on ‘The Race’ official YouTube channel, equating to a combined total of 23 years of content consumed around the world.
The event sees racers take part in one of three heats with the results from each race setting the grid for the final.
Round two involved a star-studded lineup including ex-Formula 1 racers Nico Hulkenberg and Juan Pablo Montoya, Indy 500 winner Tony Kanaan, and defending Super Formula champion and New Zealander Nick Cassidy.
