Shane van Gisbergen will make his Daytona International Speedway debut in the NASCAR Cup Series on August 24 with support from Kansas City-based, Australian-owned company Safety Culture.
The Coke Zero Sugar 400 will be van Gisbergen’s fifth of eight Cup Series start in 2024.
SafetyCulture, an existing sponsor of the Kiwi’s 2024 campaign, will also be extra visible on the #97 Xfinity Series Chevrolet as the primary sponsor for rounds at Phoenix Raceway on March 9, Michigan International Speedway on August 17, and Kansas Speedway on September 28.
“Partnering with Trackhouse Racing is an incredible opportunity to showcase the teamwork and behind-the-scenes collaboration it takes to have success out on the track. The Trackhouse team are known for their commitment, perseverance and hard work, which is what we’re all about,” said Luke Anear, Founder and CEO of SafetyCulture.
“The team has had an incredible start this season, and we look forward to helping them simplify their behind-the-scenes operations so they continue to deliver great results.”
Commenting on the partnership, Trackhouse Founder and Owner Justin Marks said: “We’re thrilled to have SafetyCulture join Team Trackhouse and support Shane van Gisbergen. There’s a lot of synergy between our brands, and we look forward to putting SafetyCulture’s technology to good use across our team operations.”
Van Gisbergen made his Daytona International Speedway debut in the Xfinity Series in the opening round this season, qualifying fifth and surviving several incidents to storm home 12th.
A breakthrough podium at Atlanta followed before engine issues during the first stage in Las Vegas brought an early end to Round 3.
The Kiwi will be in action at Phoenix Raceway this weekend, making his first Cup Series start of 2024 at Circuit of the Americas on March 24.
