Richie Stanaway’s 2025 PremiAir Racing Chevrolet Camaro has been revealed, showcasing a striking new livery featuring increased Isuzu branding, joining Nulon as a major sponsor of the emerging team.
Stanaway joins PremiAir Racing this year following a rollercoaster 2024 season with Penrite Racing. His year began with a strong fourth-place finish in the second race at Mount Panorama, immediately showcasing his potential. However, he experienced a difficult period in the following rounds.
Then, midway through the season, the news broke that Penrite Racing wouldn’t be renewing Stanaway’s contract, instead replacing him with 2023 Super2 winner Kai Allen. This initially threatened to end Stanaway’s full-time return after just one year, but Peter Xiberras of PremiAir Racing would later swoop in to secure him as the replacement for the retiring Tim Slade.
Stanaway’s form improved considerably in the latter half of the season, highlighted by a string of top-ten finishes and a second-row start at the Bathurst 1000. Unfortunately, his season ended abruptly after a nasty crash at the Adelaide 500 season finale, resulting in a concussion that ruled him out of the final two races.

The signing reunites Stanaway with James Golding, his teammate at Garry Rogers Motorsport in 2019. Team owner Peter Xiberras expressed his excitement, stating, “We are really looking forward to seeing him (Stanaway) take the wheel of the #62 PremiAir Racing Camaro alongside our returning driver, Jimmy Golding in the #31. It will be a steep learning curve for Richie, but we know he is extremely ready, as is every single member of our team.”
Xiberras also announced he will sport the same livery on his Top Fuel Dragster for the upcoming season.
Stanaway will get his first laps in the #62 PremiAir Racing Camaro this Wednesday at Sydney Motorsport Park during the official pre-season test day, before returning a few days later for the season-opening Sydney 500 at the same venue.
