The Kiwis had a strong day at Phillip Island to wrap up the weekend.
TCR
The first race of the day saw Coulthard make early progress moving up to third by the end of the opening lap, after starting from seventh.
Early on the second lap Ben Bargwana tried to pass Michael Clemente, to take the lead of the race, though that allowed Coulthard to not only close up to the leading pair but also let him pass to take second from Bargwana.
Just a lap later Coulthard passed Clemente to take the lead. Clemente had his own drama, receiving a five-second penalty for being outside his grid box on the race start.
After moving into the lead, Coulthard was able to control the race to cross the line ahead of Ben Bargwanna in second and Tony D’Alberto in third.
The final race of the weekend saw Coulthard caught in opening lap drama, after starting the final race from pole position.
The top three went three-wide through the first corner, with Jay Hanson and Jordan Cox who had been on either side of the Kiwi running off track, though Coulthard was able to keep his Honda on track and in the lead.
The safety car made an early appearance after Kody Garland had a wild moment that saw him skating across the sand trap at the final corner, after losing a wheel.
After initially building a lead on the restart, Will Brown clawed back the gap, to close on the back of the Kiwi, with three laps remaining. Coulthard crossed the line to take his second win of the weekend.
GT World Challange Australia
The start of the final race of the weekend saw Christopher Mies get the jump off the start line moving into the lead ahead of Shane van Gisbergen, who was followed closely by Chaz Mostert and David Reynolds.
Mostert would make a pass on SVG to take second away, dropping him into the clutches of Reynolds with the majority of the race still to run. Reynolds was also able to make a pass to take third from the Kiwi
As the leaders were trying to fight through lap traffic, Mostert was involved in contact that saw him get damage on his car though as it was before his pit stop, the team were able to address it when they made their stop.
The drama allowed Reynolds and van Gisbergen in third and fourth to narrow the gap to the lead, just before they made their pit stops.
Van Gisbergen and co-driver Prince Jefri Ibrahim crossed the line sixth.
S5000
Kaleb Ngatoa has taken a solid result in the final S5000 race of the weekend.
The Kiwi started the race from seventh with the safety car was brought out on the opening lap after contact for Blake Purdie and Shae Davies, though Davis’s was an innocent party, saw both cars stranded off track.
After the race got back underway Ngatoa would have a battle with Adam Garwood, who would ultimately pass to take sixth, before later spinning on his own handing sixth back to Ngatoa where he finished the race.
