Penrite Racing has unveiled the 2025 livery that Matthew Payne and Kai Allen will be sporting this season: with the familiar black, gold and red design returning, but now with a high-gloss finish.
Payne will be embarking on his third Supercars season this year, hoping to build upon a 2024 campaign marked by two pole positions, four podium finishes, and a win at the Townsville 500. Despite a losing out on a top-five championship finish by just 13 points to Randle in the final race—his speed and talent remain undeniable.
Joining Payne this season is 2023 Super2 champion Kai Allen who replaces PremAir Racing bound Richie Stanaway, making Penrite Racing the youngest Supercars team in 18 years. This pairing of experience and youthful energy is reminiscent of the 2007 Perkins Engineering team (Jack Perkins and Shane Price), though Penrite Racing aims for greater success.
It was also confirmed at the launch, that five-time Bathurst 1000 winner Garth Tander will again partner Payne for the endurance races.

With the pre-season test approaching, Sydney Motorsport Park holds special significance for Payne; he topped the timesheets in his very first practice session there in 2022 and secured a second-place finish there last year.
Following the pre-season test on Wednesday next week, Penrite Racing will gear up for the season opening Sydney 500, taking place over February 21-23.
