Hayden Paddon has taken the Kennedy Park Resort Napier Rally Hawke’s Bay win.
Also securing his fifth 2021 Brian Green Property Group New Zealand Rally Championship with the Rally Coromadal still to be held.
Despite slippery conditions early in the day, Paddon drove the Hyundai i20 AP4 to a commanding win almost 4 minutes clear of second overall Robbie Stokes and his Ford Fiesta AP4.
Raana Horan closes out the overall podium in the Skoda Fabla R5, despite a tricky start to the day after a spin in the early stages leaving some cosmetic damage to the front left of the car.
“I got wide of the camber and kissed the bank and spun the front in.”
“We bounced back out and it’s going right again now, ” Horan Continued.
Quinten Palmer takes the Rally Challenge class win in his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5 RS.
Palmer finishing almost 2 minutes ahead of Andy Martin in his Subaru Impreza Sti.
David Slevers rounding out the class podium a further 35 seconds back in a Subaru WRX Sti
Dylan Thompson takes the class win in the Overall 2WD standings just under 30 seconds ahead of Shane Murland in a Ford Escort RS1800.
With Anthony Jones claiming third in class competing in a Ford Escort.
