NIERDC has announced a combined prize pool of $60,000 to be split between overall one-hour and three-hour podium placers in this year’s North Island Endurance Series.
The Class 2 and Class 3 three-hour champions will receive $10,000 for their efforts, with the runners-up claiming $5,000 and third-place taking home $3,000.
The prize money split in the 1-Hour applies to classes 2, 3, 4, and 5, with each class champion receiving $3000, the runner-up $2000, and third-place $1000.
Winners must be present at the end-of-season prize-giving to accept their winnings.
The North Island Endurance Series begins on the Hampton Downs National Circuit on May 4, followed by Round 2 at Taupo International Motorsport Park on May 25.
The season-finale on the Hampton Downs International Circuit takes place on June 15.
