It’s a relatively quiet weekend with only the Formula E guys in action, Nick Cassidy and Mitch Evans set to compete in the Cape Town E-Prix.
Make the most of the free time, however, as next weekend is where things begin to ramp up as the North American contingent get underway in Florida, the Porsche Sprint Challenge begins at Phillip Island and Formula 1 gets underway in Bahrain.
In the mean time, sit back and enjoy watching two top New Zealand drivers competing on the global stage.
We can only hope this weekend’s race is as exciting as the Hyderabad E-Prix two weeks ago.

Nick Cassidy and Mitch Evans have both announced themselves as serious contenders just four races into the 16-race 2023 Formula E season.
Cassidy is the highest placed driver of the pair, sitting fifth in the standings off the back of an incredible Hyderabad E-Prix second place. His team, Envision Racing, have performed extremely well thus far, teammate Sebastien Buemi one spot ahead in the standings.
Evans, however, will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing DNF in India. He qualified on pole for that event and was running at the front when his teammate uncharacteristically locked up and took him out mid-race. His qualifying pace this year shows he can compete with the best but he’ll need a strong weekend in South Africa to remain in contact with the leaders.
German driver Pascal Wehrlein sits well atop the leader board having collected 80 points in four races to sit 18 points ahead of Jake Dennis. The rest of the pack are already over one round behind, Cassidy on 28 points and Evans on 14.
