Supercars return this weekend following a chaotic four races in Melbourne which produced plenty of drama on and off track.
Wanneroo Raceway in Perth will host three 42-lap races over the weekend, with defending champion Shane van Gisbergen the best of the Kiwis heading into the round in third in the championship. Andre Heimgartner is currently in fourth, while Matt Payne is cementing his claim to the top rookie crown to be 17th.

A short turnaround sees IndyCar back in action this weekend with the 90-lap Chilren’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix at Barber Motorsports Part.
Scott Dixon leads the way for the Kiwi contingent in the standings, sitting sixth after a difficult outing at Long Beach. Scott McLaughlin is looking solid in tenth, while Marcus Armstrong is the top rookie, in 17th, despite not competing on ovals.
Hunter McElrea: Indy NXT Grand Prix of Alabama

Hunter McElrea is finally back in action for Round 2 of the Indy NXT championship, having finished fifth in the opening race of the year at St. Petersburg.
The class is racing in support of IndyCar, competing over 35 laps of the 2.3-mile permanent road course.

Ryan Wood will be looking to replicate the pace that saw him claim pole for the second race at Newcastle, but looking to bounce back from an uncharacteristic crash that same event. He sits 17th in the standings following the opening round.
Matthew McCutcheon currently sits fifth of the Super3 competitors in the Dunlop Series, having performed exceptionally well at Newcastle despite being let down by engine issues in the second qualifying run.
This is the first event Dunlop Series’ races run as a timed affair, with both races set to be 40 minutes long.

Richie Stanaway is partnering Prince Jefri Ibrahim for two 1-Hour races in the GT World Challenge Australia in Perth.
Stanaway will share the drive of Triple Eight Race Engineering’s #888 Mercedes-AMG at the event run in support of the Perth SuperSprint.

Rianna O’Meara-Hunt returns to the United States to partner Hannah Grisham for two 1-Hour races at NOLA Motorsports Park in Lousiana.
The pair share driving duties of The Heart of Racing’s Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 and impressed in the season opener, despite a DNF in Race 2 which was through no fault of their own.

Kiwi Madeline Stewart is in action for JDX Racing at Barber Motorsport Park this weekend, with the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America supporting the Indy Grand Prix.
Stewart has shown incredible pace already this year, claiming pol in the first qualifying session of the year at Sebring and backing it up to finish third in class in Race 1, before achieving the same result in Race 2.
