Scott McLaughlin has signed with professional sim racing squad Apex Racing Team.
The world of motorsport has embraced the digital age of sim racing amid the coronavirus-induced break. Many global championships such as Supercars, Formula One and IndyCar have all launched their own virtual series to satisfy the needs of starved race fans.
The defending Supercars champion has already expressed interest in racing in the official 10 round Supercars Esport series set to launch next month and will also join Team Penske in the IndyCar virtual championship.
McLaughlin joins reigning USF2000 champion Braden Eves at Apex Racing as well as motorsport commentator Jonathan Simon.
Earlier today McLaughlin launched an official Twitch account which enables him to stream his Apex Racing sim racing adventures across the internet for anyone to view.
