With one race win under his belt already at this weekends round in Austria at the Red Bull ring.
Lawson has once again set himself up for another great race where he will start, this time, from second position.
In DTM there is a winners ballast weight added for the top 3 cars with the previous race winner gaining a hefty 25kg of extra weight.
There is a positive to it, as the kilos are only added during the race so Liam was still able to qualify well.
Unfortunately for Liam, that means his great qualifying position may still not be enough to keep him up front during the race.
But with his aggressive nature of driving, it’s not going to come easy for the rest of the field.
It was also clear yesterday that Alex Albon was still able to maneuver his Ferrari in eloquent ways even with the additional 25kg that he carried after his win at the Nurburgring.
Lawson will fight with everything he’s got to keep those treasured championship points!
