Callum Hedge returns to the United States with form on his side ahead of this weekend’s Formula Regional Americas round at Road America, having taken race honours last time out.
Hedge currently sits second in the standings, having featured on the podium twice in the season-opening round at NOLA in March. He also picked up a commanding victory in Race 3 to cement his spot as a championship favourite.
Fellow Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Championship alumnus Ryan Shehan currently leads the title battle with a 17-point buffer over the Kiwi.
There’s plenty to play for in the championship, with an impressive prize of a full-time Super Formula drive in Japan in 2024 up for grabs.
The Formula Regional Americas Championship will compete over three 35-minute races on the iconic Wisconsin circuit, beginning with qualifying at 3.10 am on Sunday and followed by the first race at 8.20 am.
Race 2 takes place at 4.20 am on Monday, with the finale following at 7.15 am. Information on how to follow each race can be found on the Formula Regional Americas website.
Hedge will return to Australia following the round, competing at Darwin in the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia. A short turnaround follows that, with the Kiwi heading to Ohio for Round 3 of his Formula Regional Americas campaign.
