Walkinshaw Andretti United has now confirmed that veteran Fabian Coulthard will return as a co-driver for the team for the upcoming Endurance races at The Bend and Bathurst.
While his driving partner is yet to be decided, Coulthard’s experience working alongside both of this year’s full time drivers makes him a strong candidate for either pairing.
In 2022, he partnered with Chaz Mostert, achieving a remarkable second-place finish at the Bathurst 1000. And most recently, Coulthard paired up with fellow Kiwi Ryan Wood, to finish 15th in both the Sandown 500 and Bathurst 1000 in 2024.

Coulthard is entering his fourth season co-driving with Walkinshaw Andretti United, bringing with him an impressive record: over 400 race starts, 13 race wins and 21 consecutive Enduro campaigns. His wealth of experience and proven speed will be a significant asset to the team.
Coulthard expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming season. “It’s really exciting to be back with everyone here at Walkinshaw Andretti United,” he commented. “It’s a great team, a fantastic group of people, and I think 2025 is going to be a huge year for us.
The return of the full endurance season is fantastic news – I’m really glad to see it back. I’m hoping we’ll have both cars in the running for The Finals. It’s going to be fascinating to see how it all unfolds. I’m looking forward to getting back with the team this weekend and getting in some laps on Monday.”
Coulthard and the team’s newest signing Jayden Ojada will both be behind the wheel at the team’s upcoming ride day at Sydney Motorsport Park, following the conclusion of Round 1 of the 2025 Supercars Championship.
