Chris Pither’s Coca-Cola Europacific Partners backed Commodore has broken cover.
Pither will rejoin the Supercars grid as a full-time competitor after co-driving for Brad Jones Racing in the 2021 season.
Pither will again run Coca-Cola colours when the season gets underway next weekend. The Kiwi will run the #22 this season.
PremiAir Racing will make their race debut at the opening round at Sydney Motorsport Park after team owner Peter Xiberas brought Team Sydney over the offseason.
Pither is determined to help the team move up the grid.
“I’m excited to be joining a brand-new team,” Pither said.
“We’re fortunate to have secured great people over the past month to join our team. Everyone is really enthusiastic and keen to get the season underway.
“I’m grateful and privileged to have the continued support of one of the world’s largest brands. I’m loving the new livery! Both the Subway and Coca-Cola car are looking awesome.
“Everyone involved is passionate and results-driven. We have high targets and expectations for the season and will be pushing hard as a team to achieve these.”
PremiAir Racing is due to hold a test day at Queensland Raceway this Wednesday, ahead of the season start next weekend.
