The Napa Central Muscle Cars (CMC) will return to Pukekohe this September as a support category for the Australian Supercars round. The class have not raced at the Auckland circuit since December 2020, making this their first appearance at the venue in nearly two years.
Three groups of Australian and American muscle cars will race around the 2.9km circuit over the weekend of 9-11 September.
The event will serve as the first round for the 2022/23 championship, with the remainder of the calendar yet to be announced.
Craig Boote was the winner of last years 2021 Group 1A title, with Shane Johnson taking the honors in Group 1B, both driving in Mustangs. Group 2 was won in an 85 Holden Commodore VK by the number 2 of Andrew Sinclair.
