Championship leader Max Verstappen is aiming for his first British Grand Prix victory this weekend, with Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez hoping to close the gap to the top of the leaderboard.
Daunted by mechanical issues and poor strategy of late, Ferrari need a strong outing to maintain contact with Red Bull in the constructors standings, with the ever-improving Mercedes playing catchup.
Last years Grand Prix was a memorable one, with a lap one battle between Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton seeing the former being put into the wall at a 51G impact. Verstappen went on to win at the track a week later, however this event was officially titled the “70th Anniversary Grand Prix” as the British Grand Prix was a week earlier.
This weekend plays host to Formula One, Two and Three as well as the W Series. Race weekend begins on Friday, with the main event of the British Grand Prix concluding proceedings on Sunday afternoon (Monday morning NZ time).
Kiwi drivers Liam Lawson and Marcus Armstrong will both be competing in Formula 2 proceedings. For the full schedule in New Zealand time see below.
Where to Watch
