Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe Pro champion Brendon Leitch is set to break new ground, joining Wayne Taylor Racing and Anthony McIntosh in Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America for the upcoming season.
Leitch and McIntosh will race a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO II carrying No.69 as part of a four-car Wayne Taylor Racing line-up. The series plays support to the WeatherTech IMSA SportsCar Championship for five events in the United States before the season-ending World Finals in Italy.
Leitch and McIntosh will begin their six-round season at Sebring supporting the Twelve Hours of Sebring on March 12-14 before Laguna Seca on May 9-11. The series heads to Watkins Glen on June 19-21 for the third round of the season, which will be followed by Road America on August 1-3.
The final round in the United States will be at Indianapolis on September 18-20. The season will conclude at Misano in Italy for the World Finals on November 6-7, where competitors from North America, Europe, and Asia will converge.
McIntosh and Leitch raced together on several occasions in 2024, culminating in Pro-Am victory at the Lamborghini World Finals at Jerez, Spain.

McIntosh steps up to Pro-Am after winning the Am class in Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America last year. That campaign saw him take seven class wins from 12 races.
It’s a return to full-time Lamborghini Super Trofeo competition for Leitch after his Pro class victory in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe in 2023.
“I’m very excited to debut with Wayne Taylor Racing in the US, they are an iconic team in the USA and it’s a great opportunity,” said Leitch. “Tony and I have one goal and that is to win the Pro-Am title and continue where we left off at the World Finals last year.”
It’s Leitch’s second full-time GT program to be announced following news of his return to GT World Challenge Australia with Tim Miles and Melbourne Performance Centre. With additional racing plans expected to be revealed in due course.
Leitch’s drive with Wayne Taylor Racing marks his first full-time racing season in North America since 2017 when he contested the Formula 4 United States Championship.
Wayne Taylor Racing is one of the United States’ most prolific GT and sports car racing teams, with its focus largely on IMSA.
In its brief 18-year history, WTR has accumulated multiple victories in sportscar racing’s most iconic events: the 24 Hours of Daytona, Twelve Hours of Sebring, Petit Le Mans, Mid-Ohio, Road America and the Six Hours of The Glen. With its back-to-back Pro class championship wins (2022, 2023), WTR currently has 14 titles in Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America and a Lamborghini World Finals title.
