Earl Bamber is returning to Asia this weekend for the opening Thailand Super Series round in Buriram.
Bamber is driving a Porsche 991 GT3R in the TH Supercar GT3 class alongside Piti Bhirombhakdi under the Earl Bamber Motorsport banner.
Earl Bamber Motorsport hasn’t raced in Asia since the global pandemic broke out last year.
The team are regulars in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia championship and were set to expand into the GT World Challenge Asia series in 2020.
However, the pandemic has meant EBM has had to look to America and Australia for their international campaigns.
Bamber was also supposed to race in this year’s Bathurst 1000, but other commitments mean he’ll miss December’s enduro.
Bamber and Bhirombhakdi have two one-hour races this weekend at the Chang International Circuit.
Both races are live-streamed via the Thai Super Series YouTube channel.
