New Zealand Formula 2 drivers Marcus Armstrong and Liam Lawson are readying themselves for this weekend’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
This weekend is the seventh round of the FIA Formula 2 Championship marking the halfway point of 14 rounds in total.
The two Kiwi drivers are excited to head out on the iconic British circuit with Lawson saying, “Silverstone, its a place I like a lot,”
“It’s got a lot of history, a famous track and it is a unique track. I remember my first test in Formula 3 days, it was a very exciting experience and I think that in a single seater this track is perfect.”
Lawson, who drives for Carlin Motorsport, currently sits tenth in the F2 championship not far behind Hitech Grand Prix driver, Armstrong, in sixth.
Both drivers will make their first appearances out on track during the F2 practice session that starts at 9:45PM NZT on Friday.
