Formula One will return to the Netherlands this April, with a revamped Zandvoort set to host the race for the first time since 1985.
Verstappen lapped the circuit in a Red Bull RB8 from 2012 with Dutch Grand Prix sporting director and former Grand Prix driver Jan Lammers waving the Dutch flag to commemorate the circuits re-opening.
Also in attendance at the venue was two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Arie Luyendyk.
The final corner of the Zandvoort circuit has been named after Luyendyk, which now features steep banking.
