Shane Van Gisbergen has arrived in Miami, Florida, for this weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The 1.5-mile banked oval in Homestead, Florida, has an asphalt racing surface with 18-20 variable banking, including 3 degrees on the front and back stretch. This is the 26th race for the Nascar Cup Series at this track.
Trackhouse Racing and Shane Van Gisbergen have revealed the No. 88 Chevrolet will represent the underwear brand Jockey, with the American brand jumping on board as the naming rights sponsor.

Jockey has been Trackhouse’s apparel partner since 2022.
Although American, the brand has a long history with New Zealand, including All Blacks legend Dan Carter, dating back to the 2000’s.
“Excited to be behind the wheel of the No.88 Jockey Chevrolet this weekend, and I’m hoping for a great result,” said Van Gisbergen.
Talking about the Homestead-Miami track, and the learning curves of moving into NASCAR Van Gisbergen said;
“I really like the different variety of tracks. It’s a different style of track every week and a new challenge.
“I’m excited for Homestead this weekend. I’ve never been there in a Cup car, so I’m looking forward to seeing what that’s like. It looks like a cool but challenging track.”
Van Gisbergen does have some experience at Homestead-Miami Speedway, finishing 17th in the Xfinity Series race last year.
