Richie Stanaway will depart Grove Racing at the conclusion of the 2024 Supercars season.
The Ford team confirmed the news this evening, with Stanaway entering the driver market of what is expected to be a busy silly season.
The Bathurst 1000 winner currently sits 13th in the standings, eight places behind teammate Matt Payne.
“Grove Racing can confirm that Richie Stanaway’s contract will not be renewed for Season 2025,” the team statement said.
“Richie will continue as our main-game driver for the remainder of the 2024 season, and we will endeavour to support Richie to perform at the level that we know he is capable of.
“The team’s current priority is to finish the 2024 season as strong as possible and maximise our position in the teams’ championship.
“The driver of Car #26 for Season 2025 will be announced in due course.”
The 32-year-old from Tauranga achieved his best result of the season in Race 1 at Bathurst with fourth and has finished in the top ten five further times.
Stanaway will next be in action at the Tasmania SuperSprint on August 16-18.
