James Dicey has been re-appointed to the MotorSport New Zealand board for a second consecutive term.
Dicey, first appointed in November 2020, finished his first term as an appointed board member at the 76th AGM in May earlier this year. Following a thorough appointment process by the selection panel, Dicey was this week appointed again for a second term.
As an active competitor in motorsport, Dicey is a member of the South Island Formula Ford Club. He also brings a wealth of business and governance knowledge to the board. Dicey has been a director for multiple organisations and has served on numerous industry committees during his professional career.
His professional work experience includes time as both a Chartered Accountant and a lawyer. Outside of New Zealand, Dicey has international experience in IT consulting, project management and strategic planning for large companies.
Dicey is currently the managing director and viticulturist of Grape Vision Limited and Ceres Wines Limited.
MotorSport New Zealand’s President, Wayne Christie, is pleased to see Dicey continue his work with the board.
“James has been very valuable for us as an appointed board member,” said Christie.
“His experience in Health and Safety, Finance, and IT have helped strengthen the board itself, the organisation and the sport.”
“The rest of the board and myself are looking forward to continuing to work with James.”
The MotorSport New Zealand board is made up of six members, four elected and two appointed. Dicey joins fellow appointed member Ron Mackersy and elected members Daniel Gaunt, Mark Mallard, Scott O’Donnell and Wayne Christie.
