The first entrants for the BP Supercars All Stars ESeries celebrity race have been announced, which includes former racers and sports stars.
Supercars confirmed that it will stage a celebrity race on iRacing around Bathurst on May 12, the night preceding the official series.
The entry list includes former Supercars driver Neil Crompton and Brad Jones, while Erebus co-owner and CEO Barry Ryan has also announced his intent to participate.
Crompton has been a permanent fixture of the Supercars commentary team after retiring from the sport in 2002.
Jones raced actively in the series with his own team before settling into a full-time team owner role following his retirement in 2009.
Other participants announced include Australian cricketers Brad Hodge and Peter Siddle, surfer Luke Egan, former NRL player Nathan Hindmarsh, and AFL player Jack Riewoldt.
All Blacks have reportedly registered interest in competing, although their participation is yet to be confirmed.
The fifth round of the BP Supercars All Star ESeries takes place this Wednesday at 8pm NZT. It can be viewed on Sky Sport 5 and via the official Supercars Facebook page.
