Red Bull AlphaTauri AF Corse driver Nick Cassidy will be looking to build upon his last two DTM race winning weekends for a final time this year at the season ending Hockenheim round.
Brazilian teammate Felipe Fraga has also scored a win this season, bringing the pair’s total up to three race victories.
But it all comes down to the team standings this weekend as Red Bull AlphaTauri AF Corse sits just 13 points behind ABT Sportsline.
In terms of the driver’s standings, Cassidy sits 12th while Fraga is in 14th leaving them out of championship contention. However, the pair’s skills could throw a spanner in the works for those battling for the title.
“I’m really looking forward to finishing the DTM season on a high at Hockenheim,” said Cassidy.
“The last two weekends have been great for us as a team, and I hope we can round out the season in style.”
The Kiwi will take to the 4.57km Hockenheimring between October 8 and 9 for two 55 minute sprint races.
