Shane van Gisbergen chased down James Courtney late in the race to win the final Supercars race of the weekend.
Davison took the lead of the race after a slow start for van Gisbergen saw him drop back to third, with Reynolds taking second.
However, van Gisbergen wasn’t in third long, passing Reynolds for second at the end of the opening lap
Van Gisbergen closed onto the back of Davison by the end of lap 13.
Mark Winterbottom received a 15-second penalty for a driving infringement.
Through the pit sequence, James Courtney jumped the leaders, after undercutting them on the pit strategy and making the most of the clear air he found himself in.
Van Gisbergen emerged behind Davison after they completed their stops, though van Gisbergen made a move for effective second with Davison desperately trying to get back ahead, as they looked to chase down Courtney.
Courtney’s tyres held on well, staying ahead of van Gisbergen for some time before they began to struggle letting van Gisbergen close the gap and make the move for the race lead with 6 laps remaining.
Lap 41 saw the safety car brought out as Gary Jacobson stopped on track with a transaxle issue
At the time van Gisbergen was leading the race with Courtney second and Davison third, the order would remain the same at the end of the race.
Brodie Kostecki dove down the inside of Broc Feeney making contact with Jake Kostecki in the process, leaving him parked in the sand at the final corner, which would see the yellow flag out at the final corner on the last lap.
Andre Heimgartner ended the race inside the top ten taking ninth in the final race, while Chris Pither dropped to 17th.
