Mitch Evans is now third in the Formula E championship standings after a second-place finish in the Monaco E-Prix.
The Kiwi started on pole but came out second-best in a race-long tussle with winner Stoffel Vandoorne.
Evans now has back-to-back podiums in Monaco and has three on the trot this season.
In the span of three races, Evans has come from essentially nowhere in the championship to now be considered a genuine title threat.
“I really wanted to win today,” he said.
“Unfortunately, we couldn’t convert as we were struggling with energy, but second is still really great points for me and for the team.”
Porsche driver Pascal Wehrlein spent some time leading the race but retired on lap 16 with a mechanical issue.
The left Jean-Eric Vergne to close out the podium.
Vergne is the only driver to have scored points in all six races this season.
Nick Cassidy had a miserable qualifying and started the race in 18th.
However, he muscled his way into the points-paying positions with seven minutes remaining.
He would pick off a few more cars before the chequered flag, ultimately finishing P7.
“I think we managed to make the most of what we had,” Cassidy said. “I’m happy, but also a bit sad as we had the pace to go further.
“I was disappointed to start the race so far back, but we have a strong car, so plenty of positives overall.”
Cassidy moves up to 13th in the championship.
Formula E heads to Germany next for back-to-back races in Berlin.
