Marcus Armstrong got his second taste of a Ferrari Formula 1 car on Friday in a private test session at Fiorano.
The Kiwi Formula 2 driver drove the 2018 SF71H during the test. The same car he steered back in January on his unofficial F1 debut.
Armstrong racked up several laps and completed over 200km throughout the morning. He then subbed out for Robert Shwartzman in the afternoon.
Armstrong also donned his Kiwi-inspired helmet for the test, which features a Silver Fern pattern in Ferrari’s red-and-black colours.
Kicking off his second season of F2 in Bahrain last month, Armstrong ended the weekend with a fifth-place finish in the feature race.
The DAMS driver is tenth in the standings heading into round two at Monaco in May.
